For three years, she participated in a joint project between the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and Fiocruz, examining the impact of health industrial and technological policies on local production and the supply chain for the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS). She also served as a researcher on a collaborative project involving UFRJ, the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), and Queen Mary University of London, focusing on the impacts of violence and culture on the mental health of residents in Maré. As a member of the Center for Studies on Inequality and Development (CEDE), she conducted research on the funding, quality, and regulation of higher education. Throughout these projects, she was responsible for the collection, processing, and analysis of quantitative databases, as well as the design and implementation of qualitative field research.

As a consultant for the Institute for the Study of Society and Labor (IEST), she contributed to the development of impact evaluation guidelines for sustainable projects within a major company in the extractive sector. This project involved selecting econometric impact evaluation models and presenting implementation strategies to the company's analysts.

During this tenure, she specialized in topics such as payment and credit markets, Open Finance, crypto-assets, and platform markets. As Head of Research, she spearheaded the Institute’s research strategy, supervised the development of a monthly retail economic activity index, and facilitated market intelligence initiatives with management and product development teams at a major financial institution. She also advised social impact teams on impact evaluation projects, represented the Institute at academic and industry events, authored monthly columns on financial innovation trends for media outlets, and coordinated the research department.

Throughout her career, she has developed advanced skills in qualitative research, including field study design and implementation. She has also deepened her expertise in quantitative methods, such as econometric models for public policy impact evaluation and non-parametric models—specifically Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA)—for comparative efficiency and productivity growth analysis.
